Marc Carmen

A New Jersey native, Marc Carmen explores the themes of wholeness and symmetry in his glass work, while employing a clean, modern aesthetic. Each piece begins as molten glass, colored and shaped using Venetian glass blowing techniques. After cooling, the works are then further refined through a series of cutting, grinding, and polishing processes. Carmen works without the help of an assistant, an anomaly in the art of glassblowing.
